The bronze silencer is a device that reduces the noise generated by an air motor. Silencers work by absorbing the sound energy produced by the air motor, reducing the noise that is transmitted to the surrounding environment. There is an estimated noise damping of 15db(A) and power drop of 10% with solencer. This reference is made for MR84 and MR180 air motor series.
