Limited Warranty: The “Products” of the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. LLC (“CP”) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This Warranty applies only to Products purchased new from CP or its authorized dealers. Of course, this Warranty does not apply to products which have been abused, misused, modified, or repaired by someone other than CP or its Authorized Service Representatives. If a CP Product proves defective in material or workmanship within one year after purchase, return it to any CP Factory Service Center or Authorized Service Center for CP tools, transportation prepaid by customer, enclosing your name and address, adequate proof of date of purchase, and a short description of the defect. CP will, at its option, repair or replace defective Products free of charge. Repairs or replacements are warranted as described above for the remainder of the original warranty period. CP’s sole liability and your exclusive remedy under this Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective Product. Classic Pneumatic Tools: 2 Year Limited Warranty
Of course all new Chicago Pneumatic products are warranted to be free from defects – 1 year from date of purchase comes standard in the manufacturer’s limited warranty. With the Classic range of products, you can be doubly sure that CP warrants its material and workmanship, because these products have been selected, tested, and proven by thousands and thousands of tool users, year after year.
So now CP is putting a 2-Year Limited Warranty in writing on this Classic series of tools, commonly identified by their silver or light blue color. You no longer need to register your product online, this warranty is automatic and will be based on your purchase date stated on the invoice.
Cordless Tools and Batteries Limited Warranty
The cordless power tools, batteries and chargers of the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. LLC ("CP") carry a warranty to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 5 years for tools and 3 years on batteries from the date of purchase. The warranty applies only to products purchased new from CP or its authorized distributors. CP accessories (ie: driver bits, drill bits, sockets, gloves, etc...) are not included in either the 5/3-year limited warranty. Accessories will be covered under Chicago Pneumatic standard warranty.
This warranty does not apply to products which have been abused, misused, modified, or repaired by someone other than CP or one of its Authorized Service Centers. CP's sole liability and your exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective Product.
