In one case, pneumatic motors are used to operate valves in flow control in a chemical/pharmaceutical plant.
The need: The customer needed a reliable motor that operated at high torque of 1.5Nm, speed of 3500rpm, air pressure of 6bar and only rotated in the forward direction. Additionally, the motor had to be compact to operate in a small space and under harsh conditions.
The solution: We recommended our compact M39-520-KSL motor since it meets the technical requirements of the application, and is also ATEX-certified, therefore presenting no risk of explosion. This versatile motor delivers high power and high reliability over a long service lifetime and is quick to mount and easy to use.
