In one case, pneumatic air motors are used to drive tools for pipe bevelling, in preparation for welding.
The need: The customer needed a rugged motor that could be used outdoors. The motor also had to be simple to install, and compact and lightweight for use with portable tools. Additionally, the customer required a bespoke solution for mounting.
The solution: We recommended our 2H410 motor which has an excellent power-weight ratio for easy handing, and provides reliable operation over a long lifetime. We were able to customise the mounting, providing a flange to suit the requirements, as well as a trigger system.
The outcome: The customer has benefitted from a reliable motor with mounting built to their specifications, and with safety remote control. When spare parts are needed they are available globally so the customer can minimise downtime.
