In one case, compressed air motors are used to operate a cutting disc in a food processing plant
The need: The customer needed a reliable motor that was resistant to chemicals and cleaning agents and could operate without any oil. The motor also had to be small in size and lightweight with a high torque, and did not require reversible rotation.
The solution: We recommended our compact M39-520-KSL motor which has a strong starting torque and operates reliably over a long life time. It features a stainless-steel body and is quick to mount. Additionally, it is oil-free, without any need for lubrication or grease to operate.
The outcome: The customer has benefitted from high efficiency and been able to save space in their machine. The ATEX-certified motor also provides peace of mind to the customer that they are adhering to regulations and operating safely.
We had a previous positive experience with the CP representatives and we didn’t want to look around for other solutions, different brands, as we don’t know much about the air motors product line. So we wanted to work with a known brand, as we pay a lot of attention to our quality and building the Hafner brand as a top quality manufacturer.
I am glad, that the project was completed without any issues, everything was as planned and delivered on time. Together with the end-user, we think about this project as a success.
