In one case, compressed air motors are used to drive rotating equipment on a conveying system in a food processing plant
The need: The customer needed a reliable motor that was resistant to cleaning agents, could operate without any oil, and was a smooth design with no cavities where dirt or bacteria could accumulate. The motor also had to be compact with a minimum starting torque of 2.3Nm.
The solution: We recommended our M2501-5500-KSL motor which has a strong starting torque. It features a stainless-steel body, is quick to mount and has low air consumption. Additionally, it is oil-free, without any need for lubrication or grease to operate.
The outcome: The customer has benefitted from high efficiency and production speeds since installing the air motor. They have also reduced their maintenance costs.
